Enjoying your Oxford Pie

All Oxford Pies products need to be kept chilled at 4 degrees Celsius or frozen. This allows you to keep your product until the recommended date specified on the packaging.

REMEMBER TO NEVER RE-FREEZE A PASTRY PRODUCT ONCE IT HAS BEEN THAWED. BE FOOD WISE.

Use by dates

Shelf Life of our items:  Please refer to the best before date as printed on the packaging.

Single Serve & Family Pies:

Our pies, sausage rolls, savouries and mini pies have a minimum shelf life of 9 days if kept refrigerated and can be frozen for up to 12 months.

Our family meat & fruit pies have a minimum shelf life of 9 days if kept refrigerated and can be frozen for up to 6 months.

Our fruit & cream pies have a shelf life of 6-7 days from production if kept refrigerated and can be frozen for up to 4 months.

Lamingtons

To lock in the quality & freshness of our lamingtons, we freeze them as soon as they’re made.

We recommend you keep the lamingtons frozen until required, thawing will take approximately 30 minutes.  Lamingtons are able to be frozen again once thawed (however, we recommend you only do this once).

Once thawed, we suggest you store your lamingtons in a cool area, and away from direct sunlight and consume within 5 days.

MICROWAVE: Microwave for 2 minutes on high from frozen and 1 minute on high for fresh.  Microwaving does not present the product as well as heating in a convectional oven.
